Which play along books/cds are better between the Hal Leonard and the Abersold books/cds?

I'm trying to get decent versions of Ornithology to play along with. Furthermore, can you suggest versions of Ornithology by Charlie Parker that would be good? Some of the older recordings are better than others you know. By the way, I'm a guitarist. Also looking for good jazz blues songs to learn. thanks everyone.
