This Book Is About Critical Thinking And Challenges The Reader To Ask:
What Do I Know And How Do I Know It?
Sister Mary, one of three Sisters Superior in the Church of the Saved is murdered in the opening chapter, the first of several murders. The same evening, David Stone attends the Summer Sunday Sundown Services held at Jefferson Park in the City of Dicksburgh, presented by Pastor Maxentius Zeno Constantine (known to all only as “Pastor”) and the police arrest David for blasphemy.
Sister Mary had a two million-dollar life insurance policy (with double indemnity for accidents) issued by a company in Bermuda. The beneficiary is an international religious charity controlled by Pastor. Will her death be ruled murder, suicide or accident?
David, a graduate student, demands the prosecution prove each statutory element beyond a reasonable doubt using the Federal Rules of Evidence. He takes the position claiming before one may be convicted of a blasphemy, the law must provide an intelligible definition of God and then produce evidence to support the definition or the prosecution will fail to make a prima facie case.
Pastor uses the upcoming trial to increase his sphere of influence and bring money to the church. His church, like all others, always needs more money. He spends some of his time at the Garden of Faith, headquarters of a religious mission, on Lake Brokopondo in Suriname, saving souls, feeding the poor and performing devotional rites for God with the Sisters Superior and the Angels of Manna, a lower level order residing in the Garden. While Pastor’s relationship is strictly religious, the sexual rituals rival those described by the Marquis de Sade — embellished by the kinks of Sister Leah.
Sister Leah, genetically an intersexual and a former professional female dominatrix, now restricts her domination practice to an underground arm of the Church as the Mistress of Justice.
What happens to David's life if the jury finds him guilty?

God On Trial Endorsements:
“The Supreme Court of the United States opens each session with the crier saying, “God save the United States and this honorable court.” Thousands of trial courts daily swear witnesses to tell the truth, ending with, “so help you God.” Morris has it right: under the Federal Rules of Evidence, courts can convict a person of murder but cannot prove God exists.”
Marc J. Victor, Attorney at Law
Certified Specialist in Criminal Law
“This book is a gripping intellectual mind-twister. Reason, faith, and the charlatan battle for the minds of the jury in the best of courtroom drama. Morris lets loose with his vast experience of international law and religion, weaving an extraordinary sleuth of intrigue, murder, and deviant sexual drama.”
Ken Schoolland, Associate Professor of Economics and Political Science
Hawaii Pacific University, Author of "" Jonathan Gullible"

What is the first book in the "Dragon Lance" Chronicles?
I wa going to Florida and in a truck stop was a book self that contained books called "the dragon lance Chronicles" or something like that but i remember Dragon Lance because i wrote it down... I really want to read them but im having some trouble finding out what the VERY FIRST of all of them are, i've found something about twins and then villains but i want to start With he very beginning.
Help please???
"The Dragonlance Chronicles" by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman is a trilogy in itself, a core trilogy, and there are a lot of other books written about the same world. The other core trilogy is "The Dragonlance Legends", which is about the twins Raistlin and Caramon, who appear also in the Chronicles.
Reading order of the Chronicles is
Dragons of Autumn Twilight
Dragons of Winter Night
Dragons of Spring Dawning
The Legends
Time of the Twins
War of the Twins
Test of the Twins
I don't think there is a reading order as such - there are so many books! But here is some help with chronologies.
By storyline: This is probably the most common reading order recommendation out there. What this list does is list the novels by their importance to the Dragonlance storylines. So the main books are read first (Chronicles, Legends, Fifth Age, War of Souls) and then you can branch out and read the supporting stories.

The best way to get started is to begin with the Chronicles series, comprised of three books: Dragons of Autumn Twilight, Dragons of Winter Night, and Dragons of Spring Dawning. This is the first set of books written about the Dragonlance world, and will give you the foundation for everything else. Chronicles introduces you to the major gods, important characters, and important events and organizations that other books assume you already know about.
Once you've finished the first three books, read the Legends trilogy. In addition to being the second series published, this series explores the relationship between Raistlin and Caramon, and also introduces the reader to more detail about the Cataclysm and the events immediately before and after it. Like the Chronicles, other books assume that you know what happened in the Legends series, so I would recommend that you read Time of the Twins, War of the Twins, and Test of the Twins next.
With what long time fans consider to be the 'holy six' out of the way, you can begin reading other novels.
