I can't figure out which characters represent which characters in the book. Can anyone list them?

There's only like a couple more i need to find out. The two people traveling with the main character, The governer, Homer something, vernon, and the radio station man
George Clooney is Odysseus
Helen Hunt is Penelope
John Goodman is Polyphemus (the cyclops)
The three girls by the river are the sirens
The blindman on the rails is Tiresias
There's probably more, but the movie is a VERY loose adaptation of the epic.
